I just found out last night my husband had a medical bill that was back in 2003 and he had been making payment from time to time and finally The Doctor's office that is the original "OC" send it off to a CA...... I've read on the boards that you can request the OC to pull the account and you can start making payments to the OC. I could be wrong. Maybe I misread it somewhere. But the OC acted confused and said " WEll by law your not suppose to be contacting us, yak yak yak" How can you get an OC to remove a bill from the CA which are a pain in the neck? or we may have to do a "pay for deletion" the CA is ridiculous.......it's NCO What to do?
I've never dealt with NCO - hear they are a pain though. Send a letter CMRRR offering to pay in full if they pull back from the CA.
