Ok everybody, after attempting to follow debt validation, I have recieved nothing! I sent first letter approching 90 days ago. Second letter 60 days ago. I followed up by sending copies of green cards and letter explaining I have'nt recieved validation from accounts to all 3 crb. Eq list as "customer disputes as not his/hers" but still says "verified". EX/TU asked for proof of identity, which I sent-copy og gas bill and DL with sig covered. This of course extended their investigation time. hitting 30 days very soon. These accounts are not mine! I am a junior and the accounts belong to a person with a similar name-a family member. I have not included this information in my disputes just that they are not mine.I cannot let this drag on any longer. I am being subjected to higher interest rates based on 4 accounts that do not belong to me. Does anyone have any suggestions to what to do next? Thanks to all the old timers posts, I have been reading this board for several months and soaking up all your advice!!
Well, the CA's didn't send anything because they don't have anything to send. That's the good news. The bad news (or good, depending on your point of view) is that if the CRA's won't delete when you have sent them proof that the CA's did not validate, it is time to consider suing, because you have them dead to rights. So go read up on suing them.

Maybe it's how you worded your letters. I had a friend who was a "second" and his dad's stuff would show up on his report. It was usually fixed in just a couple of weeks and all he did was send the dispute form that the CRA's send you. He never had a problem.
If these accounts are truly not yours, and you have requested validation and have disputed with the cra's I would initiate a lawsuit immediately. I would send out the intent to sue letters asap. I would notifiy the cra and the accounts of my intent to sue them. I would look at the templates on this site. small claims is easy and the court clerk can explain procedure to you. they may even publish a guide or instruction for small claims. I would not wait on this.... I think you have good case, from your postings. I would proceed. check out www.proselitigant.net... that is whyspers site, it helped me a lot with getting organized for court!
