In MI is a mobile home repo, if not on a foundation, in a mobile home park, considered "personal property" thus subject to the UCC 4 year SOL? Manufactured housing is listed as goods. I have been reading the statutes the last two days and can't my self come up with a definative answer. Any and all responses will be humbly appreciated

I wish I could help you on this one, but I am totally unfamiliar with MI regulations. If you post a link, I will try to find the time to read them over and that will put me in a better position to try to give you a reasonable response. Either that or maybe one of the legal beagles that populate here can give you an answer.

Does the mobile home meet the criteria of "manufactured home"? If so, it sounds like "goods".

Did you review the definition for "manufactured home"?

reads that way, according to the definition.

IN TX - Mobile Homes are considered manufactured homes (trying to get rid of that stigma!). If they are on land that you own, they are real estate, if they are placed on leased land, they are personal property.

Mobile homes are considered personal property and not real estate if that is your question.

Thanks for the replies, then if considered personal property, then does this fall under the UCC 4 year SOL? Thanks again for the replies.
