    First, Happy Holidays to all!

    I am 18 months post BK (7).

My credit score is 640, per Wells Fargo mortgage broker, within past week.

There is not a single late pay or blemish of any kind on my credit reports at this time, after going through long process of having negatives removed.

I have First Premier card and Visa Card from First National Bank of Marin, all at 0 balances most of the time. I pay off the card a few times during month.

I would like to get better cards, with higher limits, less fees and rewards, if applicable. CAN YOU PROVIDE ME WITH YOUR TOP 3 CHOICES? I appreciate the information!

Thanks for the information. How does a Secured Card help me at this point? I have the credit cards I mentioned, none of which are secured. Secured cards are those where you give the credit card company a deposit to hold and they charge against it? Is that correct? At this point, I am looking to find cards that will give me significant limits, based on my score and my post BK history.

Did you include anything from Citibank in your BK? If not, try one of their cards. The American Airlines AAdvantage card used to be fairly easy to get.

Citibank, Advantage Card, turned me down! In their letter, it said the reason for declining my request was based on a bankruptcy in my credit history.

So my suggestion to those who have BK in their background is to AVOID Citibank.

My question remains, does anyone know which credit card companies are issuing cards to people with BK in their history and have maintained a flawless payment history since the 2 year old BK? I am NOT interested in cards that require deposits. I already have credit cards with limits up to $500 that are not debit cards. I am interested in higher limits, lesser rates and reward programs.

    Can anyone provide accurate information?
