these two damn medical collections are killing me. I sent them a validation in dec. and got back printout. sent cease & desist so they wouldn't start bugging me, figured I would deal with original creditor (hospital). Now i look at my reports and they do not list account being disputed.. their lzy a$$. I want to just go ahead and file suit for violating section 807.... is that enough? especially since they have continued to report the debt and did not fill obligation to validate debt. 2 accounts x three reports = 6 grand ( or deletions plus ) can I do this since i sent c&d or am i screwed.
If you have them on violations, sue them. Cease and desist doesn't prevent you from suing them if you've been wronged. Go get 'em.
