1. Received dunning letter from CA-1 2. Disputed TL with CRAs 3. Received dunning letter from CA-2 4. CRA dispute result- CA-1 was deleted on one report; had already been removed by CA on another report 5. CA-3 begins reporting 6. I sent validation request to CA-3 7. CA-3 sends printout on their letterhead & photocopy of OC bills 8. OC also sends original copy of bills that CA-3 sent 9. OC send a new bill with current date PLUS...CA-2 and CA-3 are the same. They use separate mailing addresses, but same phone number. Help me nail them to the wall. This should be fun!
Love, It sounds like the debt could of been assigned back to the OC. If so how can the CA and the OC be collecting on the debt at the same time. Could you deal with the OC only on this and try to get the CA's out of the picture and off your report? Was your signature on any of the proof that the CA and OC sent you? unless it was a utility bill I guess they would'nt have your signature. It really does'nt sound like full validation of the debt. kathy
CA-1 and CA-2 uses the same account number the OC uses; in addition, CA-2 has an alternate reference # that is also noted on the letter from CA-3. It gets worse! CA-2's last letter is dated later than the date CA-3 claims to have been assigned to the account.
Love, your right it did get worse. my head is spinning reading it. There is definately something going on between the 3 CA's. They no doubt sound like the same CA. it's definately confusing. Did you ever send a validation to CA-2?, just curious, if you did, did they respond to it ? are all 3 reporting on your CR under different names? kathy
I never sent a validation letter to CA-2. CA-1 and CA-3 reported, CA-1's TL was deleted when I disputed with the CRAs.
