I have been trying to do some repair on my credit for awhile, and things seem to be going well, but I'm having some problems Experian.

It seems every time I dispute something with them, I just get a letter back saying "This item has been previously investigated."

Anyone have any suggestions? I could really use your help!

    Thanks!

    Are the reported TLs inaccurate?

Were the items previously disputed, and were the items previously investigated?

Are you disputing on-line, or by mail?

Did you send any documentation with a mail dispute in support of your dispute?

    The items have inaccurate information.

I've previously disputed them by mail, but I just keep getting letters back that say this item has been previously investigated.

As far as doucmentation, I don't really have anything to send.

What do I do from here?

Did your first dispute of an item result in "previously investigated"? In other words, was it not, in fact, previously investigated, since you had not previously disputed it?

You can also dispute, under FACTA, with the data furnisher, the OC or CA.

Are the inaccuracies such that they result in monetary damages to you, compared to if the DF corrected them? If they were corrected, would your FICO go up?

Try Lexington Law Firm, you can find them on the net. They specialize in dealing with credit reporting agencies. I've used them twice, once when the CRA had me listed as owing back child support. I sent document after document letters of satisfaction, still they would not get it right until I went with Lexington Law Firm.

Iv'e experienced these same letters and after so many they may or may not change. They're designed to ware you down.
