Do both in the same letter. No use to send two Certified Return Receipt letters when one will do the job quite nicely. One single little sentence which says that you demand that all contact by phone must cease immediately and they must contact you by US Mail only.

Oh yes, and be sure to send the letter Certified Return Receipt Requested.

thanks for the info- the letters are sent out BUT after looking over my papers I noticed I had sent them a cease communication letter on 10/31, I guess that didnt mean much to them.

keep close track of all those little details as they happen. Keep a little diary, dates, conversations and all. It's very important that you do that.
Keep track of all the greencards and the dates they received the letters. You must build a paper trail in order to come out winners.

Absent your paper trail you are dead meat if it ever goes to court.

You know who else is just as bad...OSI and NAM..I think they are owned and operated by the same family (truth - not a joke).

    NAM- National Asset Management

I had an unpaid collection about a year or so ago, I paid it my score didn't change one point. I just had a paid charge-off DELETED from my report, score didn't change one bit. Had some inquiries removed, didn't change one bit. I honestly think once you have bad credit and you remove/fix/change things on your report it still takes a while to for the score to go up. Put it to you this way when I had 2 unpaid charge off's on my CRA's my interest rate on my car was 9.99 (it was even used when i bought it) now that they were both paid when I got my new car my interest rate was 11.99 for a brand new car.
