I tried to get the $39.95 price on Credit watch but EQ will not allow me to get it without the Microsoft Money promo code. I am not too computer smart so to make things simple can one of you give me the code. CW let's me log in but will not direct me to the member area and my credit card payment is in computer limbo until I call them with the Promo code. Equifax acknowledged the Promo is legitimate. Please help. Thanks
Thanks Butch, The EQ rep told me that I was the 5th caller today he had who had this problem. Since there is more than one rep more than 5 must have called. I will doubt anyone ever got the lower price until someone comes up with the Promo code. I don't know anything about Microsoft money but I am going to look them up and see if I can find anything.
Hi George, I used the link but the link did not have the promo code as far as I know. Do you know the promo code?
I have NEVER remember anybody saying they had to use a PROMO CODE... When I got the $24.95...I DIDN'T HAVE A PROMO CODE...I just filled in the answers...it worked fine...(copied it just incase).
Hi everyone... I did a quick search and found a website which offers an equifax promo code. I'm not sure if this what you need, but I'll give the code & link... http://www.4links.net/4Shopping/4Codes/consumerinfo.html (ITS AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE PAGE) code: CDO - 020818 I just wanted to contribute... Sincerely, Cbrock007
I just tried it for kicks since I'm already subscribing to CW. Get error message Sorry, we were unable to find that promotion code. Please go back and try again..
FWIW, I tried to get the link to work with ebates to get an extra 10% off but it was no go, there is something embedded in the URL that gives credit for the sale to Microsoft, so even if you extract the code it won't work outside of the URL.
We got Credit Watch today for the $39.95 price. EQ drove me nuts with their b.s. Let's backtrack for a moment. My husband and I tried to order CW for the low price last week when Hermit5 brought it up. I ordered for both of us using the link Hermit provided. I used a credit union visa card that we are joint users on. I talked to EQ a couple of times about why we could log in but were not able to get our reports and score. The answers I got were probably sincere but wrong. A strange thing happened. On Wednesday, we accessed our c.u. accounts using home banking. there were no charges for the 39.95 x 2 members. However our available credit card limit dropped by $79.90. I went into the c.u. today and the rep called visa as I sat there and asked what was going on. Visa asked him who the vendor was. I had the rep tell them EQ. I went back to work. Tonight, we have just reviewed our credit files on CW and have been billed for the 79.90 on the credit card. Our memberships expire in 1 year. Hurray. Happy dance time. the promo code question was nonsense. The sad thing here is that only the credit union would call visa right in front of me and ask about the problem. If I had used Providian or some other bank card, I am sure i would have been told to go jump in a lake. Thanks everyone.
I tried to call and cancel my free trial--they cancelled the charged part, and my free 30 days isn't up until the 13th. I didn't cancel that part because they told me that I couldn't reorder CW for 3 months after I cancel. I'm afraid to cancel and not be able to get it. At least this way I can have it for the next 10 days. After that though, will I really be without it for 3 months???
