Hey, I just received an email stating that my Newport News Charge account will be Terminated, this is the company that has financial problems, eddie bauer ect. I have a zero balance on this account. How will this account look on my Credit Report??? Should I send to close it myself??? If they terminate my account will it show as "closed at credit crators request? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Relax. All FCNB accts that have been closed will be reported as closed at consumer request. I called them last week.
