So, partly thanks to CN, I have been able to go from 20+ negative items on my report a few years ago to 0 or 1 of late. However, I just noticed 2 new items and would like some input on the best way to try and get these taken care of. First off, my EX is clean. I noticed these two items on my TU and have not been able to pull my EQ because there is a freeze on my CR for some reason. Anyway, the two new negative items came up because of a recent move to another city and some miscommunication/misunderstanding on accounts. The one negative item is an OC for a gas utility company. It is showing as having gone 30 days delinquent, then 60 days delinquent, then written off. I believe once I was made aware of this last year, I sent them a check and they just returned my check because it was written off. The second negative item is a CA for Comcast. I also took the first steps of contacting Comcast then contacting the CA and paying as soon as I was made aware. However, I did not know that they were already reporting the account as negative. So, this item is showing as payment after charge off/collection. I know this might be more difficult as I don't have any leverage since they already have their money. Anyway, this is really discouraging considering I'd been able to completely clean my reports so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
