I just received a notice to pick up a certied letter at the post office. Upon review of the numbers on the slip, they match my Validation CRRR to Orchard. What does this mean? How can I force them to validate when they don't accept the mail? Is there something else I am unaware of? I understand that Househohld has something to do with them now. Could this be the problem? Thanks for your help.
Just hang on to the returned letter .URGENT/ Very Important do no open the letter>You will need the un opened letter for evidence if it comes to a court case. Wait out the 30 days and send the estoppel letter CRRR.
Mine came back too, but it was because I had the wrong address. Did you pick it up yet? I was concerned they were refusing it, but in fact I had the wrong address, so I resent it yesterday.
No Do not write anything on the returned envelope or tamper with it in any way! Also you do not have to send them another Validation Letter. Like i said the next step is to send them the estoppel letter at the end of the 30 days. ====If you are afraid they will refuse this letter too you do not have to lie to them by marking it payment in full.=== Just put payment center on the envelope instead.
I haven't picked it up yet. My post office is closed on Saturday's, so Monday it will be. I will keep ya'll informed. Guys, thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it.
Do you remember what address you used? Maybe that's it, cause someone else told me they accepted their validation, however Orchard is now deleted on all mine except TU. My only problem is trying to get Cavalry Investments off the reports (apparently a collection agency) that I have NEVER heard from.
Calvary Investments is on mine too. I sent them a validation letter too. However, they are not licensed or bonded in NC. So, eventually they will be gone anyway. The NC Dept of Insurance handles that here. They were not happy when told that Calvary was trying to collect. I was instructed by them NOT TO PAY and to File a Complaint. I would check your state too.
My local bank has an odd setup for their ATMs. Rather than having the ATM envelopes, they put out regular business envelopes with the bank's logo on them--usually with not return address. so, I grab those and use them if I need to send soemthing like this. Some say writing "payment in full" could be misleading but this isn't. It's just an envelope and if they're greedy and *assume* it's a payment, not your problem.
