    Hello,

I really need some advice...I have a credit card debt that is currently in credit counseling. Its currently $1500 over the limit of the card, which I know is hurting me. This account was closed by the creditor.

I am getting $$ to pay off this credit card debt in full, but I am not sure how to go about it. I am hoping there is some way to get the OC to remove all negative remarks(late payments, etc). They dont report it as "in CCCS", but all the lates hurt me badly (120 days+)

Any ideas on how to pay this off the right way?

Any chance the OC will do anything for me?

    Thanks,
    Lesley

so you're wanting the debtor to remove truthful statements from a database?

Might be able to, but that would put the company in very dangerous grounds with their credit bureaus.

If everyone did this, there would be little derogatory value of information.

CCCS doesn't care they got their cut, they want you to be with them forever. They are not your friend. They are a money making agent. They serve no purpose other than to bankroll their staff.

Quite the CCCS b/s and read up here and handle your business yourself.

But be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing if you do strike a deal. Then when its all over, send the deal into the credit bureau, and i bet that company will lose their contract to use such credit bureau for violations of the terms of agreements. lol.
