Thanks in advance for any help. I just found out that i have a judgement reporting on my tu report only. It is still going thru the courts, so it just shows as being filed. It was filed under my current address and as for the name, it was filed as "jane doe aka smith". The doe being my maiden and smith my married name. If i remove my maiden name from my file, what are the chances it will be removed. I know it's a long shot, but I am so pissed it's on there to begin with......And of course i'm about to refi house. So this just adds to my stress. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
your chances are pretty good, deny deny deny and usually public records come off easy. Especially with trans union.
Here is the deal that i have explained before. Call TU and explain to them that your getting confused with mother/father depending on your gender and that you have the same name minus middle name. Also request former address to be removed because those address are your parents. They deem you as a "mixed file" per what the indian reps will tell you and the judgement will be removed since judgements do not contain your SSN number and they wont verify any other info.
