I PFB'd Verizon a validation letter (they are the original creditor). I got a call from someone at their executive offices asking for more information to complete the form - she said something about needing to verify an address, she had 2 people with my name but different addresses.

Should I ignore this or PFB that I will only respond to written communications?

This is a first time effort - any advice?

They claim you owe, let them prove it.If it is your account, ignore their request. At 30 days send them the estoppel. Although, if it isn't your account and you were misidentified, then calling them may put an end to this.

Wow PFB'ing a validation letter....cool idea. Let us know how it works out.

I agree with LKH ignore their request. Send them only the account number accociated with the listing in your report, and that is all.

Are they referring to verifying an older address? Or did you send it without sending current address info? If that is the case, how do they respond to the validation request?

    They'd have to e-mail you I guess.
