Hi I would appericate any input that anyone can help us with. I started to clear my husband credit reports my self last sept. We were trying to get a mortgage. I was doing not to bad. When I called a broker about getting the mortgage, he said we needed to clear our report. He gave me a name of a person who clears credit reports, Oh Boy what a miskake! After paying $400.00, to him all he kept doing was disputing everything, and I don't even know how he did it. We had a open Charge off, that we wanted off, the clown could not even get off a medial collection for $12.00. Well we got our mortgage, at a good rate 7%, It was a VA loan. but had to pay off all open accounts encluding the charge off. We do have a lot of hard inquires on my husband report, but most from Mortgage companies. Now for the problem is I want to dispute these paid accounts, some are not even listing as paid. When we paid off the charge off we paid the bal due, now we got a letter from a collection company saying we owe $1,660 more for collection fee's, I am not worried about that, but I think they are using the account with the orgianl creditor to keep this in collection, on my Equifax report there was a new tradeline listing for that account. They would not let me dispute on line since this was verifed in 6/02. So I was going to send them a copy of the check to show it was paid. I know this is long but I don't know what to do, I can not dispute any of this stuff on the reports on line, because they all say they were verifed.Everything I would like to get as much off the reports as possilbe. We have a car loan showing never late, a credit card, and a furniture account all good. Help anyone.. Eq score 573, Exp 578, tru somewhere in the mid 500's Thank you Oh for a laugh we had a judement that came off this month, and Experian moved it into good account status, with a bal I don't where it came from, and stating that accout pd legally in full for less amount. This one is already in dispute!

There are a lot of wonderful people here that can provide you with answers on how to go about cleaning up your credit. I'm new to all this myself...just wanted to point you in the right direction.
