A CRA has validated on a dispute but to this date, I have not received written proof other a line item saying it was validated.

What should I do to get proper validation so they just can't say the made a phone call to validate.

    Thanks,

    Gavenraj

Do you mean they VERIFIED it? Validation is done with a collection agency or OC. Did you request validation with them?

What is the procedure of requesting validation?

Also, what is the procedure for requesting validation of inquiries (hard) made on credit reports?

    Thanks for your help,

    Gavenraj

If you sent a dispute to the cra's and they verified and sent you a report showing as such, that is the process. The cra does not send you validation. If you want proof of the debt, you must send a validation letter to the ca/oc. At this point, it is apparent, that you really haven't done your homework yet and are just jumping into the fire without knowing what or why you are doing something. I say this for your benefit and I'm not trying to be a jerk about it. I suggest you do a search for validation here and read every post you can fine. Have you read the FCRA and FDCPA? If not, you need to. And, you need to read the faq's at the top of the page.
I just don't want to see you jump into something and then have it backfire. Ask questions by all means, but please study also.
