Help! Who are these people??!??

    I had a Privista Security alert today by this company:

    "FINANCIAL ACCOMODATION SERVICE has made an inquiry against your credit report on 11/28/2001. If you did not authorize this inquiry, contact FINANCIAL ACCOMODATION SERVICE for clarification."

    However, their "Oh so helpful" directory yields no creditor or CA with the name of "Financial Accomodation Service".

    Any ideas on who these people are? I know that I did not authorize anyone in the past month to access my cr's.

    You should contact Equifax to get the info. I think if anyone here recognized it, they would answer.

    Thanks Breeze...I shudder at the thought of calling Equifax...I really do, but perhaps I will have to on this.

    I bumped the message cause I posted last night and I thought it got missed.

    No, I saw it, I'm sure others did. Fax them a request instead of talking to them. Takes longer, but not so much BS. They're all on drugs, you know ;)
