I do have a copy of the Junum contract that I signed, but I currently cannot find it. Can someone review their contract and let me know if it states anywhere that Junum may change their fee schedule at any time without notice and that they may charge your credit/debit card or bank account for any fees that they see fit to?

I am going all out against them and need to know what the contract says.

Oooooh, am I mad, just got through to live support again. Here is a quote from Ulisses on the unathorized transaction from my account, "Ulisses: Junum's month-to-month Membership contract, digitally signed when you join the service, allows for any changes in terms deemed necessary by the company."

I filed complaints with my state attorney general today, also the BBB and FTC. Do I have a chance at all on this?

My take on this is that they are changing your contract, the disclaimer that they can change the terms/fees at will seems to be in violation of the specifics of the CROA.

"SEC. 406. CREDIT REPAIR ORGANIZATIONS CONTRACTS.(10)

....(b) Terms and Conditions of Contract.--No contract referred to in subsection (a) meets the requirements of this subsection unless such contract includes (in writing)--

    (1) the terms and conditions of payment, including the total amount of all payments to be made by the consumer to the credit repair organization or to any other person;"

Since they are required to quote you the " TOTAL AMOUNT OF ALL PAYMENTS" in the contract, I personally do not see how they can change this.

    Just my two cents.

Hey thanks, maybe that will be helpful.

I am disputing the charges with my bank, but they are not being particulary helpful, they are doing an "investigation" that could take up to 45 days. This does nothing to help the fact that I am now living in poverty because of all the overdraft and bounced checks fees I got out of the deal.

I don't know what the contract that I signed and sent back says though, plus I did do the electronic signature thing, I may be screwed.

Hal, I am not sure what the CROA is, where can I find an online document with all of this in it, I can add this to my complaints.

I had them charge my americanexpress gold card. One thing I like about amex is that they stand behind their members 100%.

I disputed the charges yesterday and today amex already credited the charges back to my account pending dispute.
