Hi everyone, my girlfriend has been having some serious problems with her CC's. It seeems that she has around a $10,000 balance on her BofA card which skyrocketed to 33% after a late payment, which brings her monthly payment to $750ish, she's missed 2-3 payments because of this and has contacted them trying to reduce the rate and they say its a no-go. She has another card thats around 15% which is the only card she uses. She's really struggling with this and living paycheck to paycheck any help would be greatly appreciated. I've considered the following options for her: 1. Apply for 0% BT cards (but might get denied because of the high balances) 2. Some time of PLOC or small loan to consolidate them Note* I'm posting for her because she doesn't have access to a computer and I'm currently on disability so I'm broke as a joke, so its hard for me to help her (but I do what i can) Thanks
I think the options you are mulling over are valid. You may consider a HELOC as well if she has any equity in her home. There are some rather obscure cards with better rates if you know how to find them but I'm not sure if she would qualify with that utilization and recent lates.
