I work for a major catalog company and when we try to validate credit cards through a computer our hook up compares zip codes and last names in order to get authorization. If your zip code or last name is wrong, it might come back as declined.

If you receive your bill at the office, your office zip code is the billing zip code. Billing zip code is the zip code you receive your bill at.
