I have been disputing items on my Experian credit report through their online web site. I have been successful in getting four items off in the last few months. Some items came back as verified. I tried to request another investigation online-- but I got the following response:

We have already verified this account with the creditor and the information is correct. If you have additional relevant information.. anything that has happened between you and the creditor send it to us. They want me to indicate exactly what information I believe is inaccurate and why.

I am trying to get included in bankruptcy accounts off of my reports. How should I proceed? Also should I let time lapse before I try to dispute again? How many accounts should you dispute at one time? Thanks!

Well, it seems like you had at least some good success and now you are trying to get truthful reports off, stuff that's easily verifiable too.

Hate to say it but it seems to me that you are going to have an awfully rough time doing that unless you can find some other factor that might be wrong with them to argue about.

With Experian, once you dispute online, they won't except anymore online for that TL. You will have to dispute by mail. If they reject that way as frivolous, you can always ask them for procedures. Those idiots never provide them, just reinvestigate :)

So one ends up with no answer and nowhere to turn as far as getting any practical results????
