    Hi Everyone,
About four years ago, I had seen a link for Marin on a website and filled out an "I'm interested" form. I received a call from a rep who told me about their secured card. He did the 'yadda, yadda, yadda $49 service charge' thing, but never mentioned anything about 'initial' charges. So, when I received the card with that wonderful explanation of how my limit was $300, and I already owed them $260, I got angry. I immediately sent a letter demanding they close the account. I moved about two months later, and didn't think about it.
Well, they never contacted me, but in pulling my reports, realize it's on there. Today, ironically, I received a letter in the mail from a collection agency saying that Marin is willing to negotiate with me to get the debt settled.
Should I contact Marin directly and attempt to negotiate getting this removed in exchange for payment? Does anyone by any chance have an address on them to send something like this to?

    Thanks in advance!
