I'm still fairly new at this and my first round of disputes are falling into place. There is one account that has been changed from unpaid charge off to paid as agreed, never late and another that was deleted completely. The problem is, everyone but TU has updated. When I submitted my disputes with TU, they managed to insert another last name for me under the AKA section (which is a misspelling of my real last name) and on my hubby's, they added a middle name that isn't his (actually, it's my middle name - go figure)!! What is wrong with these people??? Unfortunately, after thinking all of this had been updated, I applied with a local bank to refinance my car and was turned down do this the collection accounts that are now straightened out. Is there any way to get TU to update?? It is just now approaching the 30 days but I have letters from both OC's stating the info was provided and as I said, the others have all updated. Unfortunately, seems almost everyone in this part of the country pulls TU. Of course it's my only one under 600 and probably wouldn't be if they'd just UPDATE!!!!! Should I fax the info I have from the OC's to them?? Call them?? Thanks!

I would try faxing them the info. The fax # is in the FAQ. They told me that it can sometimes take a week to get the new info. updated once it's faxed, but a week is better than 30 days! =)

    BlueEyes,

I think that you should call and speak with a supervisor. When you call customer service, tell them that you need to speak with a supervisor and usually they will help you. Explain that you have something from the OC that may help resolve the situation on your CR. This method has been successful for me twice now and hopefully it will work for you also!

    Just my thoughts,
