I've got kind of an urgent question. I have had a judgment from a medical facility that went to the CA and then to the lawyer. They got a judgment and have been garnishing my check. Today, get two more garnishments from an OC's lawyere who has a judgment and from a student loan 11 years old. Firstly, can I validate these and can they stop garnishments and never start the other two. Is there a federal alw on how much they can take out? Please help
You will have to look to your state's laws to see what is the max total of garnishments that can be taken out.
