I Have read on the net that there is a number you can use instead of your ssn to apply for credit since you shouldn't give out your ssn anyways. Does anyone know this to be true or is that just a scam. (2) If I own a small business can I use my ein and if so will this bring up all my personal credit info. If anyone can help, that would be great. Thanks.
