Hi, I'm new to this and I have been trying to read as much as I can but I'm so confused. I was really hoping that I could find somebody in the chat room to ask questions but nobody is ever in there. I've challenged all 3 CBAs and nothing happend. infact some stuff got added. also TU asked me to report the credit repair agency I was using. Can anybody help me please? thanks val

As to the phrase used "and nothing happened" please expound if possible. Was it that after you challenged some data the CRA did not respond back to you in the alotted time? Or the data in question was not changed on the report? .

Here was my response in a follow up letter to the TU credit repair Company accusation: Dear Trans Union, Your response to my request for investigation is completely insufficient and in violation of regulations imposed under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Please be advised that I am not using a credit repair company and I AM EXERCISING MY RIGHTS as a consumer under the law. As a courtesy to you I am including copies of my initial request, your response, and the return reciept of my first letter. I went on to restate the investigation request previously submitted, and held them to the original timeline. I have never gotten another Credit repair notice from them.
I think I got that same stupid joke of a form in the mail today by TU. I like Mitchra's letter...I think I'm going to write a similar one tonight. BTW...Mitchra, did TU do an investigation after you sent that letter?
Yes they did. This was the second letter I sent, after getting the credit repair form. I held them to the original letter's date, and ultimately the item I disputed was deleted.
