I pulled the 3-1 report today and I wish that Ihad done it sooner. I noticed an address listed as a former address that I have no knowledge of in another state. Exp. reported it but TU and Equifax did not. What do I need to do to get it removed. I pulled a CR last month and disputed some of the balances and accounts listed as not mine and wrong amount b4 I was aware of the 2nd address. The address was reported in 1999. What do I do now? Can I begin another investigation now or do I have to wait 90 days for my first one to come back?
Call or write Experian (writing worked for me with EX, calling did not!) and have the address removed. It may take up to 30 days for them to remove. Disputes can be done again after 30 days not ninety, but you may get a "frivolous" comment. I've disputed some 3 times and not had this happen yet, but I've been waiting a full 2 months between these disputes. HTH
