OK Everyone, I am thinking I made a dump move. I had 2 cards that were both charged off accounts and about 2 months ago, I challenged the balance of these accounts with TransUnion and Experian. Well, they updated these account now with a zero balance. Now, I realize that I should have just asked them to provide me some verification that these are my accounts otherwise delete them. Can I still send a letter to them asking them for verify these accounts? If I have other accounts that I am going to challenge, will asking for verification on these 2 accounts hurt the other accounts chances or make them think I am just trying to clean up my report?
