    Thanks for posting that. It was a good read. Too bad most collection agencies don't understand it.

    So what exactly does the following mean:

    ii) statutory damages of up to $1,000; Wright v. Finance Service of Norwalk,

    22 F.3d 647 (6th Cir. 1994) (plaintiff is limited to additional damages of

    $1,000 per proceeding, and not per violation);
