Okay, still playing the Newbie game, thinking about moving from reading to actually DOING. *BUT* I really don't want to screw anything up and so need you guys to hold my hand and make sure I'm doing things right. So I figured I'd start with name/addresses, that's pretty easy, right? From EXP/Creditexpert.com (haven't pulled any "official" ones, no $$$ right now): 1) NAME: mkfionap (so far so good) 2) AKA: mkfionam (maiden name - married 09/01 - most TLs are in this name - do I take it off? CAN I take it off?) 3) YEAR OF BIRTH: 19XX (no problems here) 4) CURRENT ADDRESS: 123 Anyhow Street, Onecity, State 12345 (correct, lived here since 10/00) 5) PREVIOUS ADDRESS(ES): 456 Anywho Lane, Twocity, State 12300 (OK, a questionable thing. I did live at this address for about three months in 2000 while waiting to close on our current home. I have no idea what I signed up for that got this address on here - don't believe it's tied to any of my TLs - easy delete?) AND, 789 Anywhat Avenue, Threecity, State 10000. (Listed correctly. Parents' address, technically stopped living there 10/00 when DH and I moved to current address. Most TLs tied to this address. Delete, or have to keep until I've been at current addy 5 years?) 6) CURRENT/PREVIOUS EMPLOYER(S): blank. Good or bad? Okay, that should do it for now....! Fiona
If your bad tradelines are at your parents address, delete that address. this way when they try to verify you can really say I have never lived there. Also if all your good tradelines are associated with your current address, then use that as your only address. All my good tradelines were connected to the same address. All the bad ones were at several addresses. I deleted those addresses first then started the dispute process.
