Hey, for disputing inquiries on Exeprian, when disputing a tradeline just add a statement in the little box that asks for more information? Just type in the inquiry you want and why. Then print a copy. If they don't answer you then have them on a violation! I'll try it and see what happens.
Hermit5, Now that's crafty thinking. You obviously 'think outside the box'. Ha ha. Keep us posted on how 'Hermit's Trick' works for you! It would come in very handy...
I have still not been able to get to the online report for Experian. Here is my other thread: http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&pgnum=2&postid=197633#post197633 So, I am not sure why is Hermit's trick out of the box? If I am disputing a tl online through EX, would it not give me an option for 'not mine', never late etc.? Just like EQ does?
Chargedoff, I haven't seen your other thread, yet, but I think Hermit's Trick may be interesting simply because you could say whatever you want in your dispute in the info box because you aren't limited to checking the prestated boxes. They would have to investigate that or delete it, according to their phrasing, when otherwise it may be labeled frivilous, etc. That's what I'm guessing, but I haven't done online disputes yet, so I am not certain if this would be the case. I'm waiting to hear what Hermit finds out.
have you tried using a number from a previous report and going to the EXPERIAN website and clicking through to launch an investigation? It should pull up the report.
