I got an extension for the Providian Gold! Thanks for encouraging me to be persistent!! It was too easy! Once I get my card, I'm going to try and ask them to waive the annual fee before I activate it. Do you know how long it usually takes for Providian to get their cards to you? On average?? Good job!!! I really don't recall how long it took to get the card--I got mine in 98--but I'd say about two weeks. You might want to tell them to put a "do not promote" notation on your account, otherwise they will try to sell you something every chance they get. Have a great weekend!
Yeah, you might want to get *Do not promote* on your account. They were driving me nuts calling ALL THE TIME! I didn't want to be rude because THEY did take a chance on me and give me credit. I felt that being rude might make them pull the plug on my account! :-O Don't worry....the same stuff that they solicit on the phone is the same flyers that they added with your statement. So, you're not missing anything.
