22 months ago my credit was trash. I applied for the Orchard card with an annual fee $0-$79 and a application fee $0-$49. The credit limit at that time for the Orchard unsecured was $300-$1500. I thought at that time the worst they would do would approve me at $79 annual, $49 fee, and CL $300. At the time I was desperate enough to accept it. I applied for it and was DENIED. That day was a low point in my credit repair/rebuild journey. I did burn Household in my BK so that might have contributed to the decision. Where do you go from there? Fast foward 22 months 3 weeks ago I received a pre-appoved acceptance offer from Household. $0 annual fee CL $300-$5000. 6 months 0.0% after that 14.74%. I didn't need the card and I have not attempted to apply for Household since 22 months ago. Anyways I figured that maybe if I was approved it would pressure put on Cap One, Providian and etc. I applied for the card and figured my chances of getting a $300 limit were about 50/50 from what I have read here. Today I was in my chair 2 out of the 4 legs on the floor. The second I found out I was approved for $5000 my head hit the vaccuum behind me. I now have over $15k in credit card limits with a Bankruptcy. Today my total balances are at $16 between all 7 credit cards. I guess Household likes that? THANK YOU Creditnet!!!
