I have read the primer and faq. I have recently got a new insurance policy. Doing so they checked my credit. When quoting progreesive and geico (sp?). Anyway I noticed I could write back to them and get a copy of my credit report. I did I just got the one from progressive (CSC). I found two real errors. So I wanted to take care of it and also try to remove some bad marks if I can. So I went out to myfico.com and got the three cra report with fico score. I came back with a score of 622. My question is does myfico.com send the actual reports to my house or can I only see the online report. I want to get the reports to my house so I can post them up here for you guys to see. If not I might have to copy and paste the report from the internet.

    Thanks
    Matt

I think you guys will be seeing alot of me here.

Why don't you just give us a brief overview of the derogs on your report?

    And welcome to the board.

    Welcome to the board Matt.

You will NOT want to post your entire report on this board or any other.

A detailed description of what's going on, (omitting account numbers, names, etc) will suffice.

    :)

Hi Matt (from another newbie on the board):

Like you, I obtained a 3-in-1 credit report over the internet. I am curious to see if you had a similar experience as mine. I ordered through affiliate eloan.com and bought their 3-in-1 report with credit score. I received my FICO score of 627 from myfico.com. From equifax.com I received both my Equifax credit report and my 3-in-1 report. Obtaining these reports showed up as a "Hard" inquiry - did that happen to you?

My Equifax report was quite complete, about 8 pages long, and showed most of my creditors. My 3-in-1 repoort however, was only about 6 pages long and only listed 1 of 7 credit cards, no lines of credit or other banking info, and missed much of my other credit. Was your 3-in-1 as complete as your Equifax report?

If I had started repairing ONLY what I got on my 3-in-1 report, I would only be addressing a fraction of what is on my credit report from the three reporting agencies. This could have been a huge mistake! Has anyone else on the board experienced a 3-in-1 that only listed part of their credit?

Now I am starting over by ordering individual reports DIRECT from all 3 agencies for BOTH myself and my wife so I can get accurate information.

I hope this might help some other newbies too......

I have made a word doc for my CSC report. E-mail at tsnyder41@hotmail.com for a copy of it. Can I post it on here? Or can someone post it someone on their server? I will be scanning in a copy of my csc report and my 3-1 report tomorrow.

    Thanks,
    Matt
