I was talking to a collector yesterday trying to get information on an account. At the end of the conversation, he said I had a beautiful voice and that I must be sexy!! WTH??!?!?!? He wanted my home phone number. I said "you should have it" and left it at that. He originally started out nasty then he said "ohh you sound good". I could've puked. Its a violation, I swear it, where is my grand? I in turn milked it for what it was worth, he even faxed me the PIF letter I wanted before I even said I would pay it. (I am stuck paying this disputed account even tho' it is not mine to get this mortgage. I will dispute this forever). So I got a faxed PIF letter, I should have just hung up. When did CA start hitting on clients? I am still chuckling over how a CA can be sweet talked into giving documentation before making a payment. Della
Ewwww I would think that would be unfair and unconsiounable means. Harrassment & abuse? Unfair practice? I'm getting a really gruesome visual of some guy with about 100 gold chains around his neck, a bad toupee, cooing into the phone. yuck
