My wife has had the Home Depot credit card for 3 yrs and put me on as an authorized user when she got it. I noticed on my credit reports that I am a Joint account holder. I was requesting to be taken off but they said I am joint holder. I never signed anything and they sent me a letter stating they cannot provide me a copy of the original app. because it has been over 2 years.They said they have my ss# on file also so that makes me a Joint account holder. I am trying to get this off my credit because it has a high balance. What can I do next. I faxed them and asked them to delete my name along with a copy of the first letter they sent me stating they cannot provide me with the app. and followed up today & they said they sent out another letter but I was not removed.
