A lot of the credit card offers promise introductory rates as low as 0%, 1.9%, etc. When you apply, you never get the low rates. For example, Next card says as low as 2.9%.. I applied and got approved at 18.9%. Doe someone know of honest offers out there that actually give you these low intro rates? What does it take to get them?
tom65432- If you do NOT accept their offer, make sure they send you an "adverse action" letter so you can get a free credit report. (if you want one) A counter-offer of worse terms is considered an adverse action in these cases. You may be in a state which provides for free reports already... if so just letting you know. SK
Breeze: I bank at BOA and am considered a prime customer - free checking, free safe deposit box, free checks, etc. They gave me 18.9% plus only a $5,000 balance. I plan on cancelling it soon. That's why I'm looking for honest offers.
