Okay, here's the deal. I sent first validation in November 2001. No response. I sent second/estoppel letter December 24, just got print out of account that's it . Just check my Ce to see if they notated "account in dispute" and they did not. so now do I send intend to sue letter or just file... collections are both small under 200 each. and is it a separate violation for each cr that isn't reported correctly? I could use a couple thousand ( something about a trip to Vegas!)
If you sued them it's doubtful it would settle that fast. I would send the intent to sue with your list of demands. Also, send copies of all letters and cert. receipts to the cra's with a letter telling them to remove the accts. I would assume that 2 accts. = 2 violations. Good luck.
