Had a collection pop up when I applied for a mortgage. Never heard of them, turned out it was actually a hospital. I'd never heard of a hospital owning a CA before. On the upside, wrote them a goodwill letter and two days later got a call that they were deleting. Lady told me that being as I paid it, and they had never sent a bill, they would delete. How the hell did they expect to get paid if they didn't bill? Gib
