I have a car financed for 60 months through household. They haven't reported on my TU since 8/2003 on Exp since 12/2003 and they always report on EQ.... can I sue them for not reporting?

You have to dispute it before you sue. There is such a thing as the Bona Fide Error Defense.

There is no law saying they have to report.

Creditors have to pay each CRA for the right to report .

You can't sue them for not doing business with a CRA.

Nothing says they have to report to any CRA.
At least they are reporting to EQ, I have some accounts that report to no one!

Read his post carefully guys. "They haven't reported since..."

They could be reporting inaccurate information in that his balance has probably changed since 8/2003.

But I still stick by my first response...you have to dispute first :)

My mother has an account with HAF. They update her bureau (I monitor her bureau monthly) about every 4 months.
