Just noticed that Household has been reporting the same account twice (1 under Household, 1 under Orchard Bank -both with same acct #) on 2 CRs for two years (I only had ONE account.) In addition, both have identical data until DOLA which are 6 months apart ("re-aged"). Disputed with the CRs twice, verified twice. I wrote two letters to their corporate offices (sent via fax and CMRRR) but have received no response. They did however change the account status to report on CRs as "Account Closed by consumer - charge off" Sent PFB letter - nothing.

Is suing them the only recourse I have? Thanks, Getty

So now you have 2 charge offs when before you had none -right?

No, they were reporting both as charged off anyway, but after my letter changed them to "Account closed by consumer- chargeoff". Also, the CA who currently has the account is reporting it with completely different DOLA information. So this account is showing up 3 times on my CR but it was only one account. Ugh
