Received this letter in the mail today from Orchard/Household bank: Dear Eric2OO2, We are happy to inform you that you have been awarded a credit line increase. This increase will be effective as your next billing date and there will be a message on your statement confirming the increase. Automatic credit line increases are a reward for maintaining a good account history and are awarded periodically after a review of your account. The primary factors that establish a good account history are on-time payments and keeping your account within the assigned credit line. You should be proud that your efforts qualified you for this increase. If you have any questions please contact our customer service deptartment at the phone number indicated on the back of your card. We appreciate your continued business and look forward to serving you in the future. -------------------------------------------------------- Well after logging into my account online I learned that the increase was for $150. Brings my limit to $650. Nothing impressive, but its the first increase that I've received without having to ask from any bank. Although it doesn't compare to the $1200 increase I received from Capital One recently I am happy they did this. Orchard bank hasn't been so bad to me....... Just thought I'd share
EFFECTIVE NEXT STATEMENT??? I have ALWAYS got INSTANT...(or 24-48 hours)...BUT NEVER NEXT STATEMENT That is WEIRD
Re: Re: Household bank increase It WENT into EFFECT NOW. Not sure why the letter said that. But the ONLINE ACCOUNT shows $650 AVAILABLE. Not sure why it said that.
Re: Re: Household bank increase Congratulations. I now use this card once every three to six months. When I do use it, it is usually to buy a credit report, that I payoff immediately. You know what happens now?? I receive a $200 line increase every other month! I really hope this trend continues. Just thought I might let you in on that little tidbit.
