I applied online 2 weeks ago for the bestbuy card. At that time, they give you the option of applying for the Household mastercard. So I checked that box also. I was denied for the bestbuy card because of too many inquiries. (I have 3 in the last 6 months) Today I find out that they approved me for the gold mc for $3000. But, they couldn't give me a friggin bestbuy card? I still have no retail cards.
join the club. I got the card too, but hay don't knock the 3.9% for 6 months and 0 BT fee. When i applied, i noticed my application redirected to APPFRAUD.ASP or something. Worried me on the best buy site.
LKH, HouseHold Retail Services is the worst and they cancelled both of my Best Buy and CompUSA. It is because they can't verify employment and home address. Beware!!! Ron.
How long did it take you to get the card? I applied on the 26th of Jan. and was just approved today. They are slow.
i was suprised as well. I've had two household subprime cards and a gm card (received a week earlier) i cancelled the subrpimes a few months before. took several weeks, just showed up one day. No problems since then.
