Household Bank pulls a hard one

    Just a note for any of you asking for a credit line increase on your GM card - household Bank pulled a hard inquiry on my equifax for a simple CL increase. If I would have known that I would never had asked for it in the first place.

    but it is DTC which doesnt factor into the fico score...

    No, unfortunately these were regular hard inquiries - no DTC notation.

    even if you request it online?

    I filled out the form when I first got the card, (just to see what would happen), and they didn't pull a hard. Maybe I was automatically denied since it was too early...
