    Hello, I received my card almost a month ago and have been using it and today I receive a letter from them stating they were freezing my account, my credit limit was 2,000.00 and my balance is 1,206.00 and that is my new limit?..... based on namber and or type of authorizations requested and Number of satisfactory trades? also some information they received from Equifax, I just e-mailed Equifax and asked whats going on.......I am at a loss, had not made a payment yet never received a statement? Please help Thank You

    Go get your credit report immediately online!

    See what is new.

    Number and/or type of transactions? May we ask what you were buying on the card? Did you do cash advances?

    Maybe a security issue... Have you called? They may think that it's fraud with you going to $1200 in the first month.

    That's the angle I was going at...just didn't know how to put it without it sounding bad.

    I was thinking above 60% within the first month, especially if there were cash advances, might throw red flag.

    Also, lot's of small purchases might appear to be using the card as primary source of living....i.e. cashflow issue.

    I PERSONALLY WOULD TRASH THE CARD IF THEY DID THAT TO ME!!!

    If I could NOT use the "ENTIRE" amount WHEN I WANT AND HOW I WANT...IT'S GONE!!!

    Yeah, if they extend you credit, they can't take it back, LOL. Indian givers!!

    Maybe a call from CS to check and make sure it's you - that I can understand, but freeze your credit??

    Check your Equifax report.
