How do I get them to stop calling? I haven't even gotten the card in the mail yet, and they are already calling....

Got an answering machine? Monitor calls. Or set up a signal, ring twice, hang up and call back....

I would get an answering device that makes them input the telephone number or announce themselves before picking up the phone.

Went through this myself, recently. Check out the site www.jubkbusters.com. Lots of information and resources that will help dramatically decrease the amount of junk mail and telemarketing calls. Specifically, you need to get your name on a statewide no-call list if your state has one, and then notifiy the Direct Marketers Association. Also, don't forget that the CRA's give out your information freely! You can opt-out with them also, And if you're really fed up with the calls, keep a pad by your phone and get the telemarketers company name, telephone #, caller name, and request to be put on their no-call list. When they call you again, you now have a small claims suit for $500 per violation.

Call Household customer service and tell them to remove you from the telemarketing list.

    Erica-
They are HORIIBLE when it comes to telemarketing. I have the easiest lst name in the world and they ALWAYS mispronounce it. When you get their card, go to www.hbcard.com sign up for online access, change your home phone number through the website.
