How can I know if an account was

    verified by the CRA? I disputed 2 accounts that Experian was reporting as negative information. Only one was deleted and they made no mention of the other account. Does this mean it was verified or does it mean it is still being investigated? Please Help!

    I'm not sure, but it may mean that they simply didn't investigate the second account.

    I thought by law that they had to investigate it and if it couldn't be verified they had to delete the tradeline.

    What the CRA is SUPPOSED to do and what the actually DO do are commonly two different things.

    Call the CRA and ask if there is still an investigation in progress on the tradeline. If not, simply start a new investigation.
