How can this be negative?

I recently disputed a tradeline from Sallie Mae for a student loan I had. They have since sold this account due to loan consolidation. Anyway, they (exp) have updated my account to say "transferred/paid". There are no other comments concerning late payments or anything. When I check my report, it is listed under potentially negative items. Why is this?

And on top of it still showing negative, it says it will remain on my file until 3-2012.

That notation makes it look like a collection account. Was this a rehabbed loan?

Why would an account that says "transferred/paid" look like a collection account?

Positive accts. stay on your reports for 10 years. This is showing as positive because of the length of time it will be reported. Why not just call and ask why it is in the negative section.

This loan was basically paid by US Dept of Ed when I consolidated all of my wife's and my student loans. It was not rehabbed. I will call them to find out why they claim it is a negative tradeline.
