how do charge cards effect score?

    I know this question has been asked 115,000,000 times but I could not find definitive answer. Anybody know? Are they a different category or is the highest balance your limit or what?

    so this would actually lower my utilization hugely taking off that 800-1200 a month I charge on my starwood, since it will now be on my charge card?
